Asia B-Connect® is committed to the protection of personal data. This privacy statement describes why and how we collect and use personal data. It applies to the personal data that they provide us, both those themselves and those received through third parties. We can use the personal data that you provide us for any of the purposes we indicate at the time of collection.
Asia B-Connect® refers to the network of external collaborators of Asia B-Connect®. Each external collaborator of Asia B-Connect® is an independent legal entity and does not act as an Asia B-Connect® agent. Asia B-Connect® is not responsible or responds from the acts or omissions of any of its external collaborators, nor of the professional content of its work or can be linked or forcing them in any way. In the same way, none of the external collaborators are responsible for the acts or omissions of the rest of the external collaborators or the professional content of their work, nor can they link or obligate or to said member firms or Asia B-Connect® in any way.
Asia B-Connect® processes personal data for numerous purposes, and the collection means, legal processing, use, disclosure, and retention periods for each purpose may be different. By collecting and using personal data, our policy is to be transparent about why and how we process personal data, therefore at each data collection, all the above aspects are reported, focused on each case.
SAFETY
We take very seriously the security of all the data we deal with. We apply strict internationally recognized security standards, as well as information security management systems in relation to the confidential data of our customers.
We have a framework procedures and training plans covering data protection, confidentiality, and security obligations. And that it regularly reviews the suitability of the security measures implemented to maintain safe the information.
WHEN AND HOW DO WE SHARE PERSONAL DATA AND PROCESSING LOCATIONS
We will only share personal data with third parties when we are legally allowed to do so. When we share data with third parties, we establish contractual agreements and security mechanisms as appropriate to protect the data and comply with our standards of protection, confidentiality, and data security.
We are part of a global network of companies and, we can work together with other providers of professional services, which can help us manage our business. Some of these third parties may be in other countries, so personal data can be transferred outside the countries where we and our customers are located.
This includes countries outside the European Union and countries that do not have laws that provide specific protection for personal data. We have taken steps to ensure that all personal data receive adequate protection and that all personal data transfers outside the EU are legally carried out. When we transfer personal data outside the EU to a country that the European Commission does not determine that provides an adequate level of protection for personal data, transfers will be made under an agreement that covers the EU requirementsfor the transfer of personal data outside of the EU, as the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
Complying with the requirements collected in the previous paragraphs, the personal data we treat can be transferred to:
- We can share personal data with external collaborators of Asia B-Connect® when necessary, for administrative purposes and to provide professional services to our customers.
- Third Parties that provide us with IT services: We use third parties to help us provide our services and to help provide, execute, and manage our internal computer systems. The servers that feed and facilitate this infrastructure in the cloud are in safe Data center around the world, and personal data can be stored in any of them.
- Third parties that help us in the provision of services: we can work with other occasional suppliers to help us provide professional services to our customers. In these cases, the corresponding contracts that legitimize the treatment of data by these third parties will be signed.
- Compliance with the Law or Regulatory Entities: We may receive requests for information by authorities or regulatory entities that involve the disclosure of personal data, this request may be to verify that we are complying with applicable laws and regulations, to investigate an alleged crime. These requests will be taken care of having the existing legal obligation as a legitimate basis.
CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY STATEMENT
This Privacy Notice may suffer modifications, changes or updates derived from new legal requirements. This document will always be the updated version, adapted to the new requirements.
